National Night Out in Denville

National Night Out in Denville was held on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m., and was again hosted by the Denville Police Department. A fun night was had by all.

Denville residents and neighbors were invited to gather at the Riverview Elementary School with The Denville Police Department in observance of National Night Out. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships, with the goal of making neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.

The event, which was free and open to everyone, featured a “Dunk-a-Cop” tank, food served by Denville PBA 142, and a special outdoor screening of the movie, A Dog’s Way Home.
