What do runners get on race day?
On the amenities list, EliteFeats includes a registrant T-shirt; large finisher medals for Half Marathon finishers; water stations at approximately every 2.5 miles with water, Halloween candy and sports drink; a post-run party with bananas, water, Gatorade and soft pretzels from Philly Pretzel Factory; post-run massages listed from Atlantic Health; raffle prizes listed from Crunch Fitness; live / text / email results; free finish-line photos; and a personalized bib if you register at least three weeks in advance.
Awards listed on the page cover top three male/female overall and top three male/female age groups across a wide set of brackets. Soft language: awards and amenity partners can shift; use the race page the week of the event.
How does bib pickup work?
Early bib pickup is Saturday, October 17, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet, 31 South Street, Morristown. Organizers say you can pick up for friends and family. You need your bib number; a self-lookup area is noted if you do not know it. Day-of pickup starts one hour before the 9:00 a.m. start with event staff.
Register early if you want the personalized-bib option EliteFeats describes for entries at least three weeks ahead. If you register within 24 hours of bib pickup, the page says a bib number is texted quickly or available via Bib Lookup.
Where do you park for race morning?
For race morning, EliteFeats lists event parking at Ginty Pool, the municipal building across from Ginty Field, Woodland School and residential streets around Ginty Field. Treat that as organizer guidance and follow day-of signs and any temporary restrictions.
Ginty Field sits off Woodland Avenue, away from the South Street / Green core. Build extra time for race-morning traffic. Fleet Feet bib pickup on Saturday puts you on South Street near downtown dining if you want a calm day-before stop — browse Morristown area restaurants on Pulse and confirm restaurant hours yourself.
Why run the Morristown Halloween Half Marathon?
The race pairs a fall half and optional 2-person relay with a costume-friendly October date and a clear high-school Interact beneficiary. It sits mid-October on the running calendar (Oct. 18 start), separate from downtown trick-or-treat and evening family events later in the month; EliteFeats lists Halloween candy at water stations — soft costume cue only, not a costume requirement.
If you want a low-key midweek habit before race day, Pulse also lists the free JackRabbit Community Group Run on the Morristown Green (Tuesdays) — a related running listing, not a substitute for race registration.
How to plan the Morristown Halloween Half Marathon weekend
Plan the Morristown Halloween Half Marathon as two stops: Saturday bib pickup at Fleet Feet, 31 South Street, then Sunday’s 9:00 a.m. start at Ginty Field, 49 Woodland Avenue. Save your bib number, check the weather (rain or shine), and confirm parking options the night before.
Do not invent course turns from memory — use whatever map or turn sheet EliteFeats posts on the registration page. Pair race weekend with other October events in Morristown and the Pulse Morristown hub.
